Frequently asked questions

Quick answers about Mukti. For legal detail see the Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy.

What is Mukti?

Mukti Health connects patients, doctors, hospitals, partner pharmacies and riders on one verified platform for Bangladesh. Mukti Health is live on the App Store and Google Play · services open in Dhaka in March 2027.

When and where does Mukti launch?

Services open in Dhaka in March 2027. Other cities follow once the Dhaka network works well under real demand.

What can I do before the launch?

You can download Mukti Health from the App Store or Google Play and look around, and browse lab tests and medicines with their prices on Explore. Doctors, hospitals and pharmacies are joining now, ahead of the launch.

How do video consultations work?

Book a video appointment with a verified doctor in Mukti Health. You get a reminder 10 minutes before. At the booked time your doctor calls you in the app: your phone rings, you tap Answer and the call starts. You can mute, turn your camera off for an audio-only call, or switch cameras. Calls last up to 15 minutes, are private and are never recorded. Any prescription or test the doctor orders appears in your health record.

How are medicine prices set?

Medicine prices are the DGDA maximum retail price (MRP), rounded down to the whole taka, so you never pay more than the MRP.

Where are lab tests done?

Lab tests booked through Mukti are home collection: the sample is collected at your home. You can see each test's price on Explore.

How do pharmacies work with Mukti?

Mukti is not a pharmacy. Licensed partner pharmacies fill medicine orders: Mukti sends each order to a partner pharmacy, which prepares it for delivery.

What should I do in an emergency?

Call 999, Bangladesh's national emergency number. Mukti does not replace emergency services.

How do doctors or pharmacies join?

Register on the relevant portal, submit the required documents (for example BMDC registration, a DGDA drug licence, a DGHS facility licence or a trade licence) and wait for Mukti's verification before full access. Mukti reminds you before a document expires.

Can children have records?

Yes. Guardians can add children under their patient profile with a system-generated ID until handoff at age 18.

Does Mukti AI give medical diagnoses?

No. Mukti AI is a healthcare and app-support assistant in the Mukti Health app, in Bangla or English. It is not a substitute for licensed clinical advice, diagnosis or emergency care. Before you first use it, the app asks for your permission and shows who will process your messages.

Can I download my prescriptions and reports?

Yes. In Health records, every prescription, lab report and hospital discharge summary has a Download PDF button, and you can download your whole health record as one PDF. Each PDF carries your Mukti ID and the date it was made, so you can show it at any pharmacy, clinic or hospital.

How do I check in when I arrive for an appointment?

From an hour before an in-person appointment, Mukti Health shows I've arrived. Tap it and type the 4-digit code shown at reception, and your doctor sees that you're there. You can also check in at the desk as usual.

Can I download or delete my data?

Yes. In the Mukti Health app, Profile → Settings → Your data lets you download a copy, make a formal access, correction or erasure request, or withdraw a clinical consent. Delete account is on the same page.
